Parent Support

Parent Training, Group Classes, and Side-by-Side Support for Parents

I’ve said it before and I will say it again: parenting is one of the most challenging adventures which a person can go through. It is filled with unknown situations, uncertainty, and frustration. It is also one of the most rewarding jobs in the world. However, when your child is hurting, you hurt too. You feel unsure of how to help them and maybe even disconnected from your kiddo. As a result you turn to friends, family, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Dr. Google. You are left feeling more overwhelmed by all the conflicting information. One page tells you to use gentle parenting and other will say to set stricter boundaries. Your family might be experience a number of stressors including:

  • Power struggles

  • Too much yelling

  • Disrespect

  • Disobedience

  • Sibling rivalry

  • Constant complaining

  • Frequent tantrums

  • Lying

  • Poor family relationships

At the end of the day, parenting is one of the hardest jobs we have, yet not many people actually prepare for it. Instead, people parent in response to how they were parented. If you like what you saw, you repeat it. If you don’t like what you saw, you try to change it. But you don’t know what to change it to. So you end up accidentally repeating what your parents did and feeling terrible guilt about it or doing nothing and having no boundaries. So, let us help you learn new techniques to achieve your parenting goals AND bring joy back into the house.
